Bob's good friend Robert Wolfe shared some of his poetry about passing following Bob's death.

The plucked rose

is at its richest

though soon to die;

A celebration

in release?

there is

 only one thing

that preparation

is certain

to provide for:

death

nothing to do;

nothing to be;

and that way

for eternity

The Sages

Teach a lot

About living;

By teaching

A lot

About Dying.

The fruit fly is now afloat

In my chianti glass.

At last, I'm rid of him,

And he died a joyous death.

COLD-WEATHER HAIKU

SOMETHING GOOD CAN BE SAID

 EVEN ABOUT WINTER:

IT'S SUMMER'S PRELUDE.

 ACROSS A FIELD

I SEE A HAWK

DINING ON A MOUSE

...WATCHING ENERGY

CHANGING FORM.

This is my last year,

This is my last month;

This is my last week;

This is my last day;

This is how to live

In the moment

What did

Buddha's coroner

write on the

death certificate

as the cause

of death?

Birth.
