India to America

In a very different form and with a softer but just as intellligent a voice, friends of Bob are delighted that:

Swami Atmananda Udasin of Ajatananda Ashram in Rishikesh, India,

has visited America three times, so far to share satsang. These visits were in May 2013, May 2014, and May 2015. Any person lucky enough to have attended his satsang in the USA, or in India or during his annual May-June visits to Europe, knows what a blessing this has been.

Lori Aksland attended many of Bob's 2011-2012 Satsangs, and many of Swami Atmananda's iUS satsangs. She said:

"I didn't know anything about Advaita until I began to attend Bob Nickel's satsangs in 2011. Bob's sincerity in satsang was obvious. He was a large, dynamic man, even sick with cancer. Thanks to him I suddenly had many new thoughts and concepts to look at. One thing I can say for sure, Swami Atmananda in his own way--much quieter and gentler--is sharing the same message of Advaita as Bob. I am very glad that he has come to America in 2013 and this year. He's a very kind man with a wonderful laugh, and he welcomes everybody no matter what their backgrounds or beliefs as long as they come with an open mind."

Indra Rinzler has lived in Ashrams and has been visiting India beginning in the late 1970's. In February 2014 he met and attended the satsangs of Swami Atmananda Udasin at Ajatananda Ashram in India. In May 2014 he made the nine hour driver from his home in Grass Valley to Ojai to be with the Swami again for six days. He explained:

"People go to India and search all over to find a real Master. Swami Atmananda is one--and he came here! If I'll go to India to be at one with All That Is, I'll sure as heck drive nine hours when India comes to the USA!"
